About 

Oceanside Initiatives was a partnership of municipalities and organizations in Parksville, Qualicum Beach and the Regional District of Nanaimo's Electoral Areas E (Nanoose Bay), F (Coombs, Hilliers, Errington), G (French Creek, Dashwood, Englishman River), and H (Shaw Hill, Qualicum Bay, Deep Bay, Bowser), dedicated to increasing the number of businesses in the central-Vancouver Island region, from Nanoose in the south to Bowser in the north. Oceanside Initiatives supported local businesses during the pandemic in a variety of ways, including distributing over $100,000 in grants.
